Carol Anne Jewellery Help Raise Money in Support of Help for Heroes

Thank you everyone who joined us at our Trollbeads Fundraising Event and helped us raise an amazing £1500 for Help for Heroes. In an effort to raise money, a Trollbeads lampwork artist joined the Exeter boutique for the day to make authentic glass Trollbeads to some lucky 40 Trollbeads collectors. There was a lot of excitement surrounding the bead making and a great atmosphere and support for the charity. Many Trollbeads collectors enjoyed coming along to have a look at the beautiful glass beads being made and sharing their Trollbeads stories with each other.

Congratulations to our competition winners Angela Kick (pictured left) and Gemma Nelmes (pictured right) who won a Limited Edition Prism bead in our Lucky Dip and Count the Trollbeads respectively! Other winners in the Lucky Dip were Mrs Parsons and Mrs Claydon! The winner of our Trollopoly raffle is Mrs Wilkins who will receive the Trollbeads version of the well known boardgame Monopoly! Congratulations to all winners!

Join Us For A Fundraising Day Out!

We are excited to announce that we are hosting a Trollbeads Fundraising Event in our Exeter boutique on Tuesday 29 June. We will be raising money for the worthy Help For Heroes charity, supporting our wounded soldiers. We are also offering the rare opportunity to see how the extremely popular glass Trollbeads are made throughout the day from 10.00am until 8.00pm.

A trollbeads lampwork artist will be joining us to demonstrate the skills and creativity that goes into making each beautiful glass bead. If you are nearby on the day, don’t miss this opportunity to come and socialise with other Trollbeads collectors and share your stories of your Trollbeads journey. Everyone is welcome to join in on the fundraising and there’s a also chance to win a unique limited edition Trollbead to add to your collection! New Trollbeads Earrings!

Delicate, collectable and interchangeable earrings are the newest addition to the Trollbeads family!

A new level of personalised and individual jewellery, Trollbeads earrings come in a range of different charms and earring hook options. Choose from solid sterling silver hooks, priced at £21, or choose a more lavish 18ct gold hooks with diamonds for £252.

There’s a collection of 20 different charm pairs you can combine with the hooks. Prices start at £39 for silver charms. There are two sweet gold plated charms, Sun Circle and Morning Dew. The collection is completed with five precious stone accessories in Amethyst, Rose Quartz, Black Onyx, Chalcedony and Green Prehnite at £60 a pair.

Carol Anne Jewellery Celebrate Staff Accomplishments

Two Barnstaple women, Gemma Elen and Becky Loney of Carol Anne Jewellery in Holland Walk Barnstaple, are celebrating after gaining the internationally renowned Professional Jewellers’ Diploma this spring after completing their 18 month Jewellery Education and Training (JET) course awarded by the National Association of Goldsmiths.

The Diploma, which is split into two parts, JET 1 & 2, has over the years become a benchmark for retail jewellers in providing their staff with a professional qualification, enhancing customer service, increasing consumer confidence and providing essential product knowledge.
This year 121 candidates successfully passed the JET 2 award, and Becky was one of only 55 who gained an A grade in her final exam, whilst Gemma passed her course work with an A*.
